Together they devoted themselves to constant prayer...with Mary, the Mother of Jesus. Acts 1:14

Lovers of Spiritual Beauty

St. Augustine closes his Rule with the desire that all who live this way of life will do so in a spirit of charity as lovers of spiritual beauty.  Having handed over our hearts to the Lord Jesus, we rise early each day to seek His face in prayer; in studying the truth eagerly; in searching the Scriptures with ardent hearts; by offering a sacrifice of praise in the liturgy.  We are conformed to the Cross of Christ in the life of monastic observance, and we follow Him with one mind and heart in community.  Withdrawn from the world by enclosure and silence in order to carry that same world into the heart of God, we are free for God alone.

We hope that you will catch a glimpse of our life in these pages of our website.  We have presented its beauty and depth as we strive to live it; not yet in perfection, but ever striving for perfect charity, without which no one shall see God.
